Went for a carvery here, like I've done many times, but I was very disappointed this time, the mash potatoes were full of lumps, the peas were hard and seemed undercooked, the gravy was like water and wasn't mixed properly and the pork and gammon was very greasy and slimey, not impressed at all and will be going to the Horsforth Tobys from now on

The only reason there ain't 5 stars all around is becouse there is no arcades or anything like that, just gamberling machines. Everything else was great!

Booked table was running slightly late tried calling twice with no answer. Finally arrived 20 mins late and they denied myself with baby and 2 children a table. Absolute joke and the customer service manager couldn't of been more rude if he tried. Will never eat there again.

Probably best to book a table at busy times. We were told that as we hadn't booked, there was nothing available in the restaurant area so to get a table in the bar and eat there. It was impossible to find one with chairs. Thankfully we went onto the app and were able to book a table in 20 minutes time. Not sure why we couldn't have been told to just wait? The bar area was very full and very loud, really not suitable for dining so it was lucky that we didn't have to eat there. We had the carvery and the meat portions were noticeably small - despite the price being a little higher than another carvery near to the airport where you can get a fair quantity. At least the roast potatoes were very good. And our server Siobhan (hope the spelling is correct) was very attentive and friendly so that was a great finish to the evening.

The food was delicious and plenty of it. Service with a smile and friendly chat. Nice and clean restaurant. It's a nice place to take your family out for a Sunday roast or a meal any day of the week. I'm looking forward to the next time going there!

Went for dinner, quite busy and a few of the veg pots were running low. Only fad tiny yorkshire puds but what we got was lovely. We keep getting surprise offers sent for money off etc and these do tempt us to go often, reasonable prices for a decent meal so we tend to visit quite often now. Visited again tonight, very happy with everything disappointed that the onions in gravy have now finished till next year but everything else lovely. The waiter, Jean-Paul has looked after us quite a few times now and he really is a nice guy, very attentive, caring and does his job well. Went for breakfast today. Not sure if it's because there was an offer on or not but there wasn't as much choice as usual. Not even any hash browns.
